🛠️ Artisan-Centric Production Process

1. Verified Artisan Network
We only work with vetted artisan communities, government-recognized craft clusters, and GI-certified producers across India. Each artisan is handpicked based on skill, material knowledge, and heritage expertise.

2. Raw Material Vetting
Before production begins, raw materials are inspected for:

  • Authenticity (GI-tag, traditional material usage)

  • Durability

  • Non-toxicity and safe finishing (especially in ceramics, textiles, wood finishes)

3. Handcrafted Tolerance Acknowledgment
As per traditional craft norms, the following are acceptable and not considered defects:

  • Minor size or thickness variations (within 10%)

  • Brush strokes, carving asymmetry, or dye differences

  • Natural wood grain inconsistencies or burnishing marks

  • Color variation due to non-automated dyeing or kiln-firing

✅ Multi-Stage Quality Control Steps

Step 1: Pre-Production Approval
For custom orders, design and material specifications are reviewed and digitally approved by both buyer and our production manager.

Step 2: Midline Inspection
During production, our local coordinators conduct sample-based checks:

  • Size/dimension matching

  • Alignment of finishing, symmetry, and color tones

  • Packaging feasibility and fragility review

Step 3: Final Product Audit
Before packing, each batch is manually inspected for:

  • Product count accuracy

  • Material finishing quality

  • Fragile item stability (e.g., tray corners, ceramic glaze)

  • Logo/tag inclusion (if required)

Step 4: Packaging Quality Check
Every item is:

  • Bubble-wrapped or foam-layered (as applicable)

  • Boxed in export-grade cartons

  • Checked for label accuracy (SKU, country code, FBA labels, etc.)

Step 5: Dispatch Documentation Review

  • Packing list is matched against invoice & shipping manifest

  • Courier weight/dimension records are verified

  • Customs paperwork is aligned with destination country norms

📦 Post-QC & Buyer Support Boundary

  • We do not guarantee machine-level perfection — every item is handmade and subject to minor artisanal variations.

  • Issues like slight chipping, fading, or warping caused during international transit are not considered defectsunless proven to be due to improper packaging.

  • Unboxing video is mandatory for any post-delivery damage claim.
